The Ready-Fit StormSack
We introduced our new Ready-Fit StormSack! It was clear that providing detailed storm drain surveys is a time-consuming task that required mainly skilled workers to complete with confidence, so our engineering team took on the challenge to create a unit that didn’t need an in-depth survey. A brand-new geotextile filter with 12 inches of adjustability in each direction, allowing install teams the flexibility to dodge most drain protrusions and irregularities by simply adjusting the flanges right on the job site.
Stormwater Environmental Education (SEE) Program
We launched our Stormwater Environmental Education (SEE) Program in partnership with Banyan Global learning to help educate students about stormwater and how it affects their local environments and communities. Tsai Hsing School in Taiwan had been studying water in our cities with the help of Banyan Global Learning. As part of this endeavor, Fabco Industries generously donated and installed a cutting-edge stormwater filter system. It was an absolute success!
New Facility in Hauppauge, NY
We moved into a new building, expanding our operation into a much bigger space to facilitate our increase in production. We’ve upgraded from 11,000 sq. ft. to 28,000 sq. ft. which allows for a much better set up for manufacturing and shipping. With all the added space at our new facility in Hauppauge, NY, we have plenty of room for new manufacturing equipment to help with faster production as well! It was a good 10 year run in our last office, but it was time for bigger and better places!
Product Approvals and Patents
A number of our products gained state approvals or were patented this year! Our StormBasin, StormSack and ScreenBox have joined our line-up of products approved by the California Water Board, and our most popular filter, the StormRing, was successfully patented. This is a huge step forward for Fabco, and everyone else looking to protect their local water systems.

Microplastics Filter Cartridge
Recognizing the urgency in treating microplastics in stormwater, Fabco Industries has developed a powerful new filter cartridge to be used in StormBasin Catch Basin Inserts and StormSafe Vault units, designed to capture and treat microplastics effectively, preventing their entry into water bodies and mitigating the potential harm they cause. The design ensures that even the tiniest plastic particles are trapped, allowing only clean water to pass through. The heavily tested design ensures clean water flow, protecting precious ecosystems and human health.
