Beehive Rain Garden Overflow Filter (Expansion Ring StormSack)

Fabco’s Beehive Rain Garden Overflow Filter Consists of Two Components:

• A geotextile filter bag connected to a support frame using a support ring.
• An expansion ring (plastic or aluminum) is sized to fit inside the pipe.

StormSack Geotextile Based Insert Filter System BMP & PLUS as Green Infrastructure Pretreatment Solutions

The StormSack BMP & PLUS series’ sheet-metal frame is specifically designed to fit standard storm drain inlets, and also be customizable to accommodate non-standard drain inlets with construction flaws and obstacles such as ledges, shallow depth or other irregularities.

Connector Pipe Screens as Green Infrastructure Pretreatment Solutions

A Connector Pipe Screen (CPS) is a catch basin insert trash capture filter device. Unlike other catch basin inserts that are typically installed closer to the inlet (under the drain grate or below the curb opening), CPS inserts are installed in front of the catch basin’s outlet pipe – trapping trash and debris inside the catch basin while allowing filtered stormwater to exit into the storm drain infrastructure.

  • 2 or 3 Cartridge designs provide filter flow rates up to 520 gpm (dependent on cartridge type). Best for sediments, solids and dissolved pollutants such as: metals, bacteria, and nutrients.
  • Geotextile filter bag designs are best for high treatment flow rates when the pollutants of concern are sediment, particles or other solid materials – excellent for protection of sub-surface infiltration devices.

StormSafe Cartridge Filter Box as Green Infrastructure Pretreatment Solutions

The StormSafe Cartridge Filter Box is a smallest version of the StormSafe family and is normally specified with between 1 and 4 filter cartridges. This design can be used in most small vaults sizes and forms. The simplest designs consists of an aluminum box which accepts the cartridges and also include an open bypass port. In some cases a tall aluminum support frame is provided depending on the vault being used to lift the Cartridge Filter Box vertically, shown in the picture to the left.
